Rules

  1. All the participants are required to wear the race bib (bike and run), swimming cap, and body markings provided by Foremost Ironkids.
  2. Proper swimming attire: Swimsuit/ Trisuit/ Swim Trunks/Swim shorts
  3. Proper biking attire: Helmet/ Shoes/ All bikers must have a top on. Shorts/ Trisuit/ Full swimsuit are allowed. bike number should be placed on your back.
  4. Proper running attire: Shoes/ All runners must have a top on. Shorts/ Trisuit/ Full swimsuit are allowed. Run number should be placed in front.
  5. Bikes allowed: Mountain bikes, road bikes, triathlon bikes, hybrid bikes,  beach cruisers, fixed-wheel bikes, folding bikes, and bikes with coaster-type brakes are allowed.  The use of an Aerobar shall be strictly prohibited.  
  6. Helmets allowed: Regular helmet only, no aero helmets allowed.
  7. Race Marshals are there to guide you but you are responsible for counting your laps.
  8. Parents, coaches, spectators, are only allowed behind the racing line. No pacing allowed.
  9. All the participants are required to attend the final race briefing 15min before the start of their wave.
  10. Parents and kids are asked to be respectful towards all the other participants and race crew.
  11. There will be an awarding of prizes for the top 3 finishers in each category.
  12. Entry Fee is Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable.
  13. Race kit Claiming Time details:
  14. Kids age group classification is based on the participant’s age as of December 31, 2017

Relay 6-10 Mechanics:

  1. Distance: Swim 100m/ Bike 3km/ Run 1km.
  2. Three members, composed of Kids aged 6-10 Male or Female.
  3. Members will share one race number.
  4. Swimmer completes his/ her 100m swim, runs to the Transition Area to tag the Biker. Biker runs to the bike, goes out to complete his/ her 3km ride, racks the bike, then runs to tag the runner in Transition Area. Runner completes the 1km run then proceeds to the finish line.
  5. All relay teams must provide a team name
  6. IronKids Relay Race will be held after the IronKids Individual Races. Participants from the Individual Races may register for the Relay Event as well.

Relay 11-14 Mechanics:

  1. Distance: Swim 300m/ Bike 9.6km/ Run 3km.
  2. Three members, composed of Kids aged 11-14 Male or Female.
  3. Members will share one race number.
  4. Swimmer completes his/ her 300m swim, runs to the Transition Area to tag the Biker. Biker runs to the bike, goes out to complete his/ her 9km ride, racks the bike, then runs to tag the runner in Transition Area. Runner completes the 3km run then proceeds to the finish line.
  5. All relay teams must provide a team name
  6. IronKids Relay Race will be held after the IronKids Individual Races. Participants from the Individual Races may register for the Relay Event as well.
